Installation Steps:

1. Power off your Motorola device before beginning.
2. Use the Suction Cup tool and a Phillips screwdriver to lift the screen safely.
   • Place the suction cup near the home button and gently pull to create a small gap between the screen and the chassis.
   • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove any screws securing the display assembly to the frame, if applicable.
   • Be cautious not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the screen further.
3. Insert a guitar pick to open the screen assembly.
   • Slide a guitar pick into the gap created by the suction cup.
   • Slowly glide the pick along the edge to release the adhesive securing the screen.
4. Disconnect the battery connector first to prevent electrical issues.
   • Locate the battery connector, typically beneath a metal plate.
   • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the plate.
   • Gently lift the connector using a plastic spudger or tweezers to avoid damaging it.
5. Disconnect the screen connectors to take out the damaged screen.
   • Identify and disconnect the connectors attaching the screen assembly to the phone's logic board.
   • These connectors are usually located near the top edge of the phone.
6. Test the new screen before installation.
   • Carefully attach the connectors of the new screen to the logic board.
   • Power on the Motorola device to ensure the new screen functions properly before proceeding.
7. Align and connect the new screen carefully.
   • Place the new screen into position, ensuring it lines up correctly with the chassis.
   • Connect the screen connectors securely to the logic board.
8. Reconnect the battery connector securely.
   • Carefully reattach the battery connector to the logic board.
   • Replace the metal plate and screws to secure the connector in place.
9. Gently close the screen assembly with even pressure.
   • Press along the edges of the screen to ensure the adhesive bonds securely.
   • Apply even pressure to ensure the screen sits flush with the chassis.
